Our Story

“>”>Located in a historical building, built in 1914. First building with a concrete foundation, was built as a small hospital and ran for 4 years. Opened as a museum for its first season in 2001.

“>”>Located on the territory of the Haida Nation, our partners at the Council of the Haida Nation have developed language revitalization programs to continue the northern (Masset) dialect of the Haida language.
